THE OPPORTUNITY

We are building the next-gen platform for insights across the real estate life cycle. We run a tight ship with a no job is not your job mentality. Whether it's adapting a data model, building a dashboard or contributing to infrastructure, we help each other out where it's needed. As Full-Stack Data Engineer your responsibility will be to contribute from end-to-end of our system with a strong emphasis on backend and frontend.

We move fast with AI. Everyone uses Claude Code and AI tooling extensively to accelerate development, and you'll be expected to do the same. In addition to Claude Code we encourage constantly exploring and trying out new AI tools. But here's the critical part: AI helps you move faster, not think less. Quality is your responsibility, and you own what you ship.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Backend & Frontend

Build BFFs that integrate to BigQuery and act as a middleware between data and a frontend
Build reporting engines that generates word or excel templates and populate them with data
Design and create simple workflows on our different frontends
Be ready to vibe code one-offs or proof of concept ideas - we experiment a lot

Extract, Transform & Load

Build ETL pipelines that extract data from various systems and pipes them onto BIgQuery
Model the data through the layers for our data model until they are ready for consumption
Own end-to-end documentation and verification of the data pipelines you build

Platform Development

Implement security best practices (encryption, key management, OAuth flows)
Setup monitoring across performance & cost
Contribute to our multi-tenant setup & authentication processes

WHO YOU ARE

Technical Foundation. You have 4+ years of full-stack development experience with strong backend skills in Python/TypeScript and frontend experience in React/Vue. You have extensive GCP experience, particularly with IAM, Service Accounts, and authentication services. You understand OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect, security fundamentals, and have worked with data-intensive applications, preferably also in BigQuery. Experience with BI tools or building integrations around them is a strong plus.

Your approach. Even as an engineer, we expect you to be product-minded. Think about how the thing you're building will impact our customers. You don't throw code over the wall— own it all the way into production. You're a pragmatist. Balance perfect with good enough and know when to optimize or when to ship.

Your core values. Communication is king. Always know what everyone else is doing and why— and vice versa. Check your ego at the door and jump in whenever the team needs you, even if it's outside of your comfort zone.

WHAT'S THE PROCESS

Our process is simple: 25 minute screening → 50 min vibe coding exercise → meet the team for lunch or coffee and then we are ready for a decision. We are looking for the right people and we are not in a hurry to find them, so expect to be pushed hard in this process.
